Before WW2 Hardy Amies worked as a world-renowned fashion designer. A very clean-cut man who mingled with Hollywood stars, he made for the perfect spy. He would go on to spend the war fighting with the Belgian resistance behind enemy lines, specializing in assassinations of German officers.
