How to Tie the DOUBLE SLIPPED SQUARE KNOT BEND in 60 SECONDS!! | How to Tie Two Ropes Together

The Double Slipped Square is a very familiar way to join two ropes together. Most of us will recognize the Double Slipped Square Knot as how we commonly tie our shoe laces together.

In tying terminology, any knot that’s used to join two ropes is called a bend.

Although the Double Slipped Square is technically a Bend knot, this knot is known to slip and come undone and so really shouldn’t be used to join any ropes that are holding a heavy load or are being used as safety lines.

Of course, there are many different ways to tie two ropes together, and if you’d like to discover others then I highly recommend my video 24 great bend knots https://youtu.be/yhK274sIRio
