The Norwegian military’s special commando unit (Forsvarets spesialkommando, FSK) was sending out letters this week to 2,000 women chosen from around the country after performing exceptionally well during basic training camps. The women are being asked to take part in a competition that aims to yield Norway’s first female special forces.
A female-only special forces unit. Well, there’s gotta be a first for everything. Luckily they’ll be training under one of the world best special forces, FSK.
It’ll be exciting to see how this plays out and develops.
