Last week he tried out those "fuel filters" from China on his AK and this week he had a a genius (or stupid??) idea to try and fit an ACTUAL oil filter on his AR with a thread adaptor from Amazon to see if it will work as an actual suppressor.
Surprisingly we learn that oil filter can indeed work as a silencer. Actually an oil filter is very good a silencing the shots… until it catches fire or completely destroys itself 🙂
So yeah, an oil filter can be used a makeshift silencer for a couple of shots.
