In WWII Gus Maisel and Fred James Steck were enemies. The former a U.S. Army soldier and the latter a German paratrooper. But in 1960s America they are fellow citizens. In this episode of Battleline they look back on their time in combat, realising that they came face to face in the battle for Sicily.
