Popcorn Sutton may have been the last, or at least one of the last, of his kind – a man who refused to submit to an arbitrary system of taxation and control regarding the manufacture of a truly American cultural drink – white lightning, or moonshine. Popcorn took his own life rather than be subjected to the system, and this video is a memorial to him, his work, and that mindset.
