How would you rate Norwegian special forces? Both MJK and FSK.

Because there are no contests between special operation forces, it’s almost impossible to gauge capabilities and rank them in order of how “good” they are. 

That said, i believe the Norwegian Special Operation Forces are one of the finest SOFs in the world. Maybe I’m a little bit biased since I’m from Norway and all, but FSK and MJK regularly train with the British SAS, SBS, American Delta Force, DEVGRU, German KSK and GSG-9.

Because Norway is a small country with a small population, they can afford to focus more on quality than quantity, and give each operator the best training and equipment available. 

In terms of size, the bigger nations, like the U.S and U.K, blows them right out of the water. Although the size of the Norwegian Special Forces are classified, FSK is estimated to be about 40 – 100 operators. It’s an elite club, only reserved for those who can push themselves beyond what is considered capable of ‘normal humans’.
