So Good I Purchased 44 of Them – 8 Years Later – Snugpak Jungle Blanket Updated Review

Snugpak Jungle Blanket Stats :

Materials :
Microdiamond Shell top – water repellant
SuperSoft lining – moisture wicking
Travelsoft Insulation – retains heat even when wet – easily washable

Treatment :
The outer shell and the inner lining has been treated with a Paratex antibacterial treatment – this discourages the growth of bacterial which means you don’t have to wash the blanket as often as you would with similar products.

Temperature rating :
The company claims that the blanket is dual rated for 45F and 36F.
I’m not entirely sure what this means exactly and they don’t state – my advice is to use this blanket with regular clothing – socks, pants, shirt, with temps down to 55f. At 55F and above most people are going to be comfortable unless you are someone who runs cold. You will also need a good r-value sleeping pad for cold weather camping to be comfortable.
