Mantis BlackBeardX for MCX: Using BBX to take Dry Fire to the Next Level
For my shooters in the crowd – we all know dry fire is an important activity in order to develop solid firearms skills. Downside is – when the fire is "dry", there’s nothing to cycle the action but good ol’ elbow grease.
The BlackbeardX solves this for at least the AR15 and MCX rifle platforms. An auto-resetting trigger mechanism, a laser marker, AND a Mantis module all rolled into one.
In respect to the Mantis module/app portion – I’m a huge nerd for data. I heavily credit Mantis for helping me grow my skills in my journey from nearly day 1. WGT Consulting adopted its use in our own staff training framework.
In this vid – I’ll give you a breakdown of what the BBX is, how it works, and as per usual – a bunch of rants involving my philosophies around why I use Mantis to supplement my training.
