URBAN SURVIVAL: Ways to Find Water in a Concrete Jungle! If the water should stop flowing to your home today, where would you find your next drink? How will you filter it? Will you be able to boil the water if the grid goes down? Do you posses the ability to chemically purify the water to make it safe to drink? If we can only last a few days without water it needs to be high on your prepping priority list! It’s important for you to know how to store water for emergencies and long term storage. I would also add that water jugs, Bottles and buckets are top on the list of items that every prepper should hoard.
Remember There’s always ways to organize stuff in a better way that will give you more space for your prepper pantry.
Short term and long term options for emergency water storage and other water options:
-Renewable water sources such as creeks, spring heads and rivers
-Vehicle water storage.
-Rain water catchment system
-Storing water in 5 gallon buckets and use it as a boxspring for your mattress
-Boil water that you collect from questionable sources
-Stockpile bleach to purify your water
-Get a whole house filtration system
-Get charcoal filters. You can buy long term food storage 5 gallon buckets and put charcoal filters in it to filter your water
