Solo Bushcraft and Wild Camping – Fishing – Catch and Cook – Traditional Woodsman Meal
Out with the canoe for some bushcraft and camping. So that was a surprise. Glad I had the sleeping bag to myself.
The bucksaw tensioning system tweak was something I made up back in 2019. I almost forgot how good it works. It makes the sawing so much more stable despite it can be built faster with a more simple construction. It’s also possible to set it up for deeper saw depth without messing with its structural integrity.
If you combine simplicity, practicality and deliciousness there is a winner on this planet. Kolbulle. I love it and you just have to try it. The twigs I put in the fish are juniper twigs. A way to cook perch up in northern Sweden called "halstrad abborre". I learned this as a teenager from an old fisherman in the archipelago outside Örnsköldsvik. And of course he used butter and an insane amount of salt lol. I used olive oil because its more practical for hiking. Thanks for watching!
